What’s for Dinner? Spaghetti and Meatballs

Are you looking for something easy to make?  We often overlook a simple and traditional Spaghetti and Meatball dinner.

On the menu tonight:

  • Spaghetti or linguine
  • Meatballs and Sauce
  • Salad with Italian Dressing
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Spaghetti

  • In a large pot, boil water
  • Once boiling, add pasta
  • Cook 8-10 minutes, or according to directions on package
  • Top with sauce and optional parmesan cheese

Meatballs and Sauce

  • Heat sauce from jar in medium size pot
  • Add frozen meatballs
  • Cook for 25-30 minutes, or according to directions on meatball package

Baby Spinach and Greens

  • Rinse lettuce
  • Add vegetables as desired (cucumber, grape tomato, shredded carrots)
  • Serve with Italian Dressing

For this dinner, we opted to serve pre-made sauce and frozen meatballs.  You can certainly substitute your own homemade sauce and freshly made meatballs.  Just allow extra time, or make ahead of time.

Happy cooking!
