Do you pack a lunch for work, or for children going to school? If so, check out our tips for organizing your kitchen. You’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to make lunches.
Basket of Supplies
Consider setting up a basket with lunch items you use most often. Our basket included:
- Granola bars
- Pudding Cups
- Bottled Water
Place the basket on the counter, near the area where you store your lunch bags. When it’s time to make lunches, simply take out a lunch bag, and add one of each item from the basket of supplies. Lastly, add your sandwich and an ice pack, and lunch is complete.
Bin in the Fridge
Consider keeping a bin in the refrigerator to hold your lunch meats and cheeses. When it’s time to make lunch, just take out the bin of supplies, and you’re ready to make a sandwich.
Putting supplies away is easy, too. Just close up the lunch meats and toss them back in the bin.
You may also want to add your favorite condiments to the bin, such as a small bottle of mayonnaise or horseradish sauce. It is so much easier to make a sandwich when everything is located in one bin.
Happy organizing!
