Did you ever get gum on the bottom of your shoe?  This happened to me recently, and I didn’t realize it.  I found out after tracking the gum onto the rug in my car.  What a mess!

So how did I remove the gum?  Luckily, I had some baby wipes handy.  I used one to get the largest piece off of the car mat.  Then I used a second baby wipe to remove the remainder of the sticky gum from the mat.  It worked!  I was so amazed that it was this easy.  It even worked to get the gum off of my shoe.  The trick was to go slow, and be patient.

I hope this doesn’t happen to you, but if it does, you’ll know of one way to remove the gum.
