For some reason, there is always an excess of markers at our house. Here’s a simple way to keep your markers neat and organized.
Types of Markers
First, sort the markers by type:
- Large markers (the wide ones)
- Fine point markers (the tall, narrow ones)
- Washable markers (for the smallest children)
- Dry Erase Markers
Storage Solutions
For this project, we selected a utensil basket from Target. Normally, it holds forks, spoons, knives and napkins. For our project, it will serve as a portable art caddy
Organizing Your Markers
Next, insert 6 plastic cups into the caddy. This will keep the markers separated and organized.
Lastly, place the markers in the cups.
Now your children are ready to work on any art project that comes their way. The caddy is convenient because it has a handle that makes it easy to carry from room to room.
Happy coloring! 🙂
