Did you ever wonder what blooms in May? We’ve put together a summary of some of the flowers and trees that bloom in Zone 5 in May:

- Crabapple Trees
- Dogwood Trees
- Phlox
- Rhododendrons

There are also flowers on the raspberry bushes, green blueberries are appearing, and rose buds have arrived.
In addition, May is the month for planting your garden. Items such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and zucchini are now ready to be planted. Annuals can also be planted after the last frost, including flowers such as asters, marigolds, snapdragon, and zinnia to name a few.
