school playground, grocery store, parking lots, and the mall.\u00a0 You get the idea.<\/p>\n<p>So I found a location right near our entrance way.\u00a0 Everyone can take off their shoes before going into the house.\u00a0 The shoes are off the floor, and in many cases out of sight in the closet.<\/p>\n<p>Here in New England, we have shoes for every season.\u00a0 I store the off-season shoes in cardboard boxes, and keep them up on the top shelf.\u00a0 Nothing fancy or expensive, as you can see below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Shoes-6-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Organize off-season shoes\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They are labeled, and are easy to find.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be pulling out our flips flops later today.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Last tip: By the door, we keep a small plastic tray like this one:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B005EPNDL4\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B005EPNDL4&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=runni054-20&amp;linkId=04a32d24601b7fca6f7e2655c8318262\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;MarketPlace=US&amp;ASIN=B005EPNDL4&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;WS=1&amp;Format=_SL250_&amp;tag=runni054-20\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important;
