Here are a few things you&#8217;ll want to do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dethatch your lawn<\/li><li>Fertilize with a crabgrass preventer before the yellow flowers on the forcythia bushes fall<\/li><li>Mow<\/li><li>Put down grub control<\/li><li>Trim around tough to mow areas<\/li><li>Edge your grass where it meets your landscaping beds<\/li><li>Fertilize with a weed and feed product around Memorial Day<\/li><li>Water your lawn<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lawn Care in the Summer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Raise the mowing height Mow to prevent your grass from burning and to keep weeds away<\/li><li>Apply fertilizer in mid-August<\/li><li>Water your lawn if it hasn&#8217;t rained<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lawn Care in the Fall<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Patch bare spots or overseed around Labor Day<\/li><li>Aerate your lawn, especially if the soil has compacted<\/li><li>Apply fall fertilizer toward the end of September\/early October<\/li><li>Test the PH of your soil<\/li><li>Apply lime, if Ph is high<\/li><li>Rake and pick up all leaves prior to winter<\/li><li>Lower the mowing height as winter approaches<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Keeping Track of Lawn Care Maintenance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While all of these lawn care maintenance tasks seem simple, it&#8217;s easy to forget when you mowed, fertilized or watered last.
