font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There are two schools of thought when it comes to passwords.\u00a0 Originally, we were taught never to write down a password.\u00a0\u00a0However, in this day in age where you need a password for almost every account, it would be impossible not to write it down.\u00a0 So what are the alternatives?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">There are a few password programs you can purchase to keep track of your information.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">You can use an address book to keep track of your passwords. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">We\u2019ve set up a basic Password Chart to track your passwords.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Password-Chart.pdf\">Password Chart<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The Password Chart is very generic, so that it can be used in several ways.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Do you have fewer than 20 passwords?\u00a0 Print one copy of the Password Chart, and keep everything on one page.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Can you group your passwords into categories?\u00a0 If so, then print one copy of the Password Chart for each category.\u00a0 For example:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<blockquote dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-right: 0px;\"><p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Stores: list all accounts: i.e. Macy\u2019s, Target, Old Navy etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Financial: include credit cards, checking, 401k, mutual funds<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Health: insurance, prescriptions, doctors<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">General computer: pc\/laptop, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Too many passwords to figure out a system?\u00a0 Then opt for alphabetical.\u00a0 Print a Password Chart for each letter of the alphabet or group two letters together (A-B, C-D, E-F) and list your accounts alphabetically.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><strong>Safety<\/strong>: The chart provides a column for the name of the website, your username, password, and notes.\u00a0 If you want to keep special accounts extra safe, just enter a code or a hint in the password column, instead of the actual password.\u00a0 The hint might be: name of elementary school, first child, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Once you complete your Password Chart, be sure to keep it someplace safe.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;
