Chicken, Rice and Snap Peas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you looking\u00a0for something quick and healthy to make for your family?\u00a0 Consider this low-glycemic, low-salt\u00a0dinner.\u00a0 It&#8217;s\u00a0simple to make and tastes great.<\/p>\n<p>On the menu tonight:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seasoned Chicken<\/li>\n<li>Brown Organic Rice<\/li>\n<li>Snap Peas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Brown\u00a0Organic\u00a0Rice<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In saucepan, add 1 cup of cold water and \u00bd cup of brown organic rice<\/li>\n<li>Bring contents to a boil<\/li>\n<li>Stir, and turn heat down to low<\/li>\n<li>Cover and cook for 45 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: You can substitute white\u00a0organic rice.\u00a0 It cooks in 15 minutes, and will allow you to have dinner on the table in 30 minutes or less.<\/p>\n<h3>Seasoned Chicken<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut chicken into chunk slices<\/li>\n<li>Add 1 &#8211; 2 Tablespoons of olive oil to\u00a0frying pan<\/li>\n<li>Warm frying pan and add chicken<\/li>\n<li>Once chicken is cooked, sprinkle with Mrs. Dash (We used Fiesta Lime.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Snap peas<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Rinse snap peas and pat dry<\/li>\n<li>Add 1 Tablespoon of olive oil to frying pan and warm<\/li>\n<li>Add dry snap peas to frying pan<\/li>\n<li>Stir snap peas so they are coated with olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Cook 5 &#8211; 10 minutes, depending on quantity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Serving Tips<\/h3>\n<p>Serve on a bright solid colored plate.\u00a0 For our dinner, we used an orange plate by Fiesta.
