Do you have a lot of children’s books? \u00a0Check out these ideas for keeping books organized and easy to find.<\/p>\n

Storage Options<\/h3>\n

Baskets<\/h4>\n

For younger children, you might want to consider a small basket or bin for books. \u00a0Baskets are great because children can take out the books when they want to read. \u00a0It also makes for easy clean-up.<\/p>\n

Wooden bookcase or shelf<\/h4>\n

Another storage option to hold books is a standard wooden bookcase. \u00a0They come in various heights and widths.<\/p>\n

For one room, we chose a five foot bookcase. \u00a0The children’s books are on the lower shelf, and the Hardy Boy books are on another shelf. \u00a0This helps to keep everything nice and neat.<\/p>\n

Perhaps you have one dedicated shelf for all of the books.\u00a0 In this case, consider organizing the books by height.\u00a0\u00a0They look neat and organized. \u00a0The small volume of books still makes them easy to find.<\/p>\n

Cubes<\/h4>\n

Storage cubes are another alternative for storing books.\u00a0\u00a0We have a nine-cube organizer.\u00a0 Four of the cubes hold books, and the other five cubes have bins to hold toys.<\/p>\n

All train books are grouped together.\u00a0 We have a lot of books about trains, so they are all in one cube. \u00a0If we are looking for a book about trains, we know to look in the bottom right cube.<\/p>\n

By Size<\/h4>\n

The largest books are all located together in the lower\u00a0left cube.\u00a0 It has all of the thickest and biggest books.\u00a0 So you ‘ll find the children’s dictionary and picture bible here, along with the books that have 10 Curious George stories all in one book.<\/p>\n

All of the holiday and seasonal books are found in the upper\u00a0right cube. \u00a0They are in chronological order. \u00a0For example:<\/p>\n
