small\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Iris:<\/b> These are long-stemmed flowers.\u00a0 The bearded iris is a large, puffy flower and comes in many colors.\u00a0 The light purple is stunning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Bearded-Iris.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Bearded-Iris.jpg\" alt=\"Bearded Iris\" width=\"176\" height=\"235\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is also a Japanese Iris, which comes in a deep purple.\u00a0 Although the flower is smaller than the bearded Iris, it has a high impact in landscaping beds.<\/p>\n<p><b>Lilacs:<\/b>\u00a0This flowering bush comes in white, light purple and dark purple.\u00a0 If the scent is too strong for your home, consider planting unscented lilacs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Dark-Purple-Lilacs.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Dark-Purple-Lilacs.png\" alt=\"Dark Purple Lilacs\" width=\"182\" height=\"235\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Roses: <\/b>Fall is a great time to plant roses.\u00a0 One of our favorite roses is the Gingersnap Rose.\u00a0 The coral color makes it stand out in the summer, and it&#8217;s a great color in early fall.<\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5226 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-624x832.jpg 624w, https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Gingersnap-Rose-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tulips:<\/b>\u00a0These bulbs come in many colors and sizes.\u00a0 Some also bloom in early spring, and others later in spring, so check the package.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Salmon-Tulips.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1602\" src=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Salmon-Tulips.jpg\" alt=\"Salmon Tulips\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Daffodils:<\/b> These flowers are also bulbs.\u00a0 Bright yellow is the most common color for daffodils.\u00a0 You can also find multi-colors, including yellow with orange, and yellow with white.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Daffodils-while-and-orange.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1603\" src=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Daffodils-while-and-orange.jpg\" alt=\"Daffodils -
