We\u2019ve put together a summary of some of the flowers and trees that bloom in Zone 5 in July:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Black-eyed Susan<\/li>\n<li>Blue hydrangea<\/li>\n<li>Butterfly Bush<\/li>\n<li>Daylillies (Yellow and Orange)<\/li>\n<li>Phlox<\/li>\n<li>Rose of Sharon<\/li>\n<li>Roses: all types and colors (salmon, red, yellow, pink, white, peach)<\/li>\n<li>Shasta daisies<\/li>\n<li>Snapdragon<\/li>\n<li>White hydrangea<\/li>\n<li>Zinnias<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are also raspberries and blueberries which are out in full force in July.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, annuals and garden plants are developing nicely.\u00a0 Vegetables that are ready for picking in July include: jalapeno peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes.\u00a0 The zucchini, corn and beans started from seed are just about ready.<\/p>\n<p>Annuals are coming along nicely, including flowers such as marigolds, snapdragon, and zinnia to name a few.\u00a0 Asters will be ready to pick in August.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to look at our calendar for July:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/July-2013.pdf\">July 2013<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Happy gardening. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>You may also enjoy the following articles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runningahousehold.com\/?p=265\" target=\"_blank\">What\u2019s Blooming Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Did you ever wonder what blooms in July?
