What’s Blooming in June

Did you ever wonder what blooms in June? We’ve put together a summary of some of the flowers and trees that bloom in Zone 5 in June:

  • Black-eyed Susan
  • Blue hydrangea
  • Daylillies (Yellow and Orange)
  • Roses: various types and colors (salmon, red, yellow, pink, white, peach)
  • Strawberries
  • Weigela
  • White hydrangea
  • Zinnia

There are also green raspberries and green blueberries, which will be ready to pick in July.

In addition, annuals and garden plants are developing nicely.  There are flowers on the tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and zucchini, which will turn into vegetables soon.  Annuals are coming along nicely, including flowers such as asters, marigolds, snapdragon, and zinnia to name a few.
